School Reviews

My child has not been at this school long enough for me to comment on the quality of education at DMS. He has always been a fairly good student but since transferring to DMS, he has brought home staight A's. I think maybe the school is not as challenging as the school where we moved from. One HUGE drawback to this school is the lack of communication from the faculty-mainly the Principle. My child was being physically pushed and shoved around. The principle would not return my or my husbands phone calls. I eventually called the Assist. Principle who took care of the situation. I don't know if the principle is overworked and can not handle the load, but student safety should always come first. It has been sugested to me that my son has the wrong skin color. I hope that this is NOT the case. We moved from a larger city and where incidents such as these would NEVER be tolerated. I will be placing my child in a private school next year.
