As a retired teacher of over 50 years and one who has had the opportunity to work with the teachers and administration of E. C. Goodwin Technical High School, my comments will be related to academics, teachers and the facilities.
It was my total pleasure to have gotten to know the faculty at E.C. Goodwin. My contact was with administrator, guidance counselor and teachers of the eleventh-grade students. May I say that it was more than evident the expertise of these persons, the concern for the student, the let's get this done as quickly as possible for the benefit of the student attitude, the demand for disciplined behavior from the students, the get the work completed on time....if you need help, we are there attitude of the teachers that impressed me. I have had the opportunity to work with a cadre of outstanding teachers in my profession. I place these administrators and faculty among that calibre of professionals. With that said, I would highly recommend this technical school to anyone who has an interest in their child/ren succeeding. I am especially grateful to Mr. Joe Granja and Mrs. Antonacci and their colleagues who worked most diligently with helping my grandson to move forward in his studies.
