Thus school has very unhealthy physical conditions, which administration is not honest about. The staff turnover rate is extremely high, and many teachers are not properly licensed.

High staff turnover, arbirtrary and capricious enforcement of overtly strict dress code, neopotism, lack of extracurricular activities, poor administrative responsiveness to parent concern, unlicensed teachers, low academic standards and ever plummeting test scores are a few of the reasons I pulled my children out. As bad as APS is, my children's improvement has substantially improved since transfering back to APS schools. I would advise every parent to pull out of this school - if you are considering going here, don't walk - RUN as far as you can in the opposite direction as long as Jennifer Mercer is still in charge.

My son will no longer be attending ECRA. Grant it, there are some very well intended teachers/faculty, but with the influx of illegal immigrant children (Arizona), I feel the quality of my childs education/safety will be further compromised. And I have been extremely embarrassed with the appearance of the school (dirty windows, trash all over the parking/child pick-up area, dirty floors, weeds, dying plants indoors, etc) Is there a janitor? And last but definately not least-the lack of leadership. There have been s-o-o-o many admin. turn-overs since the schools inception. Without stable leadership, you're left with nothing but confusion and disorganization-that is ECRA!
