Great school. Unique grading system takes some getting used to, but is more clear about expectation than traditional grading systems. Staff really care about their students. Offers unique extra-curricular activities which are ALL OPTIONAL. Strong sense of community.

I am a 7th Grade student at Four Rivers and although I have only been here for a few months I am loving it! My teachers are all kind and make me think deeper about what I am learning. Four Rivers has standards based grading which is at first a little difficult to get used to but you eventually figure it out. Four Rivers offers a fair amount of sports and extra curricular activities such as art, drama, basketball, and ultimate frisbee which you are NOT forced to do, they are completely optional. Four Rivers has a pretty small community of about 220-ish students. Some people may not like the small amount of students but I feel that it makes your learning experience more personal as teachers are able to give you more of their time. The academics are in depth and you actually have to put effort in to do well. Students have been very kind and supportive to me no matter what and for that I am very grateful.

It's pretty chill a lot of really nice teachers that care about their students. Even as a student who typically gets low grades I still like my teachers and I feel they respect me. There's a lot of contradictions though, we are expected to act adult yet some teachers treat us like children.

Teachers pick on kids who have a hard time in school. Not even 30 minutes of break a day, even in the 4 hours of classes in the morning. No creativity is aloud, you simply follow whatever they want you to do and there is no choices. Very few extracurricular activities, and you are forced to them. The grading system isn`t built well either.

I was forced to go here as my parents believe it is the best school in the area. That is far from the truth. There aren't enough students, so you are FORCED once again to interact with the same students. No-one transfers to this school so you are with the same students for the time you are at the school. Very few sports and extra-curricular activities. Seems as though Frisbee is the main sport and if you don't do that you are a nobody at the school. Wouldn't recommend it. Even the academics aren't up to standard.

The grading system sets students up for failure. The few extracurricular activities they have are forced. They have barley any extra curricular options. Tiny Facility. Parents are too involved, and if they aren't involved enough the student will fail.
