The parking pickup and drop-off procedures are a nightmare. The principal is ridiculous to deal with you can't get any help for your child unless you put them in Special Ed. They're all about getting that Federal money. Attendance policy the school thinks they have the right to question why you're bringing your child in late or picking them up early. Telling them it's personal or none of their business is an unaccepted AppSense. Telling them you have a doctor or dentist or were sick is and accepted absence. The school has forgotten they work for you and not the other way around.

Amazing school :) my daughter is so happy to go here! The principal is very attentive and has a strict no-bullying policy which helps my daughter feel safe here. The teacher is amazing and loves kids. Easily reach the teacher through the Class Dojo app. Any concerns or questions I have are quickly addressed. The parking lot is packed and hard to navigate for pickup, but doable. There is a time slot each day for a special activity outside of the normal classroom... Art, music, PE, and library. Art is not only about kids coloring, but also about more technical aspects of art theory... Which is amazing!!! The building is bright and clean. Lunch is not as varied or as ultra-healthy as the last school (I've yet to see rice or broccoli on the menu). However, they actually serve what kids will eat! So. Load up on the broccoli and rice at home if you want to :) or don't. The school does strongly encourage attendance, as even a couple of days missed each month can set a child back significantly by the end of the year. Being new to this area, it is such a relief to have such a nice school for my daughter. I'm grateful every day for Greensferry Elementary!

The principal is a nightmare. Be prepared to be told and lectured about how to parent your children. Attendance policies are terrible. Pick up procedures are so bad it will make you want to homeschool. No art classes, junk food for lunch. They make the kids eat lunch in the dark. PE coach, thinks it's acceptable to punish a whole group if one of the kids has to use the bathroom.
