Most students are neglected here. Unless you're good at something, don't except to get anything good. You're in it alone at this school. They have maybe 5 or 6 good teachers and they are the ones you can barely even get into their class.

As a parent I COMPLETELY 100% agree with the students review. My daughter is a smart, good kid and has been ignored and no one is willing to give her direction. As a freshmen she needs to know how it all works and have guidance. She wants to be involved but can not get any information or direction from ANYONE at the school. It's horrible. The facultys favorite answer to everything is I Don't know and rudely. And then no one trys to help her find the answer. I am thankful I have daughter my daughter to give respect but it must also be given. I'm thankful she is a good smart kid or her future (due to a bad high school experience) could get off to a bad start.

I attended Harrison Central in the tenth grade and would never recommend it to anyone. The (majority, definitely exceptions) of the teachers really do not care about their students and would better be defined as baby-sitters. The school has a less than 50% graduation rate, and it is for a reason. I left to attend a much better school and now attend one of the best universities in the country. I know for sure that I would not be attending such a great school if I had stayed at HCHS.
