lack of teacher communication to parents which reflected their apathy towards a student falling behind. As I parent I would have been thrilled to receive emails, etc., about my child's lack of progress. I felt as if they really do not care about my student. I would have worked vigorously alongside my student and the teachers had they given me some specific feedback and ideas. I take the main responsibility for leading my child, being their parent, but am not able to read minds or force teachers to communicate about specific study areas. Please do not let this happen to other families. My child had a high iq and had great potential but performed so poorly at hillcrest high.
