School Reviews

5   9/29/2009
I am personally going through a tough time with school education wise. I am a tenth grader and hopefully going to graduate in 2012. When I moved in with my dad in April of 2009 I was transported back and forth from my dad's house in Goshen to Northridge High School. I have been supported there for many years. My first year of high school was there and was the best time for me grade wise too. I felt like I could actually read something and have it processed in my head. I am ADHD and I have a really, really difficult time concentrating. When I did go to that school I felt like I was actually doing my best and achieving my goals to the max limit, but now I don't go there any more, sadly. I go to Northwood in Nappanee, and I get called stupid by the teachers. Here at NorthWood if you go up to certain teachers they will bluntly call you stupid. I honestly know I can do way better than I am now in grades. When I first got enrolled at NorthWood my dad told the counselor that I could be in the top 20% of my class. I do believe I can make it to that top 20%. It鈥檚 just when you don't have any, none at all encouragement from the teachers, and they shout that your stupid to you in front of the whole class. That's when you start to alter your thinking about your own intelligence. My dad will never realize how much I miss NorthRidge. I know if I ever am able to go back there I will always have open arms from the staff. I miss that school so much, and no one will ever realize how much I do.
