My son went to this school for 4th and 5th grade, and it was wonderful! Before coming here, he struggled in all subjects and because of this, he often would not pay attention in class or wonder off. When he came to Okaloosa Academy, the teachers were so nice and the way that they treated him made him feel great and he started to excel. Now he is in Middle School, and he is flourishing. He is now an honor roll student, and it is thanks to Okaloosa Academy and their dedicated teachers!

My son was lucky enough to go to this school part of his senior year. He excelled here and he said it was because of the hard work, caring and dedication of the teachers here verses other schools he had attended growing up. He went from low C's in Honor classes to high A's in college courses at Okaloosa Academy Charter. This school has been a Godsend. My son has extreme ADHD and takes medication since age 5, he is monitored every 3 months by child psychologist. It is hard to have patience n teach a kid with ADHD and kids with other problems Im sure. He did so well at this school and he graduated this year. Thanks to this school and his superb teachers. You don't have to be a 2nd chance kid to go here. Wished we had known about this school long before his senior year. I do not think he would have graduated on time had it not been for this AWESOME school. He graduated with numerous other seniors who agree that the teachers deserve high praises. The principal and administration people are helpful and go out of their way to help you and your student succeed. They do NOT allow bullying or any bad stuff at this school. They nip it in the bud before anything bad happens and have the very best police officers working at this school on rotation. Bus drivers that care. And I Can't say enough great things about the people at the Academy. Grateful that this school exist in Okaloosa county. I hope it will always be open to help other kids like my son was helped so much. He is attending college now, and doing very well.
