School Reviews
5 11/9/2010
Excellent teachers who do the best they can for the kids who are there. The teachers make an effort! They are caring and loving and really work with the kids to help them develop. Unfortunately, the support that they receive from the Administration is terrible. This has led to many GOOD teachers leaving the school and a constant stream of new teachers (including bad substitutes) being hired. The principle does what SHE thinks is right and doesn't care about the parents or teachers' opinions of how to improve the school. And from speaking to the teachers myself, it was very clear that the teachers were unwilling to say anything. There seems to be a culture of fear instituted there... As a parent who has no other options but must go to this local school, I hope my frustration with this school (PS 150 Q) is made clear.
