This was a wonderful school. Back in 2009 I was struggling to find a school for my son and then I found Roscoe R Nix. This school was so understanding and really patient my son wasn''t the best kid back in elementary school he was smart but his behavior was something else and even through all that they still worked with him I can''t tell you how much memories were made at this school their after school festivals night outs, the field trips, parent conference I could go on the teachers though their what made the school shine because each kid was a treated like their own child they were just so kind to my son and others this will be a school that i and definitely my son won''t forget give Roscoe Nix a chance you''ll love it.

I am not in favor of Cresthaven/Roscoe nix split schools. I live within walking distance to Cresthaven, however, only 1 of my 4 children is able to attend that school due to the split up schools. My other 3 children are bused out of my neighborhood over to Roscoe Nix. I am extremely dissatisfied with this practice, as well as the Roscoe Nix school. My children should be going to the same school and be on the same schedule as one another. To divide the schools by PK-2nd grade (Roscoe) and 3rd-5th grade (Cresthaven) is ridiculous. It is ignorant to bus children back and forth, especially considering the county is in a budget crisis. I will be moving before the next school year based on the schools alone.
